Entry to Korea
Here are the important things to do prior to your departure (information accurate as of 1 October 2022):
- Apply for the Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) or Visa
– Firstly, check if K-ETA or Visa applies to your country of departure. Click here to access the website.
– If a Visa is required, you must apply for a Visa (select Tourist Visa) for your travel to South Korea.
– If your country of departure is among the countries with a Visa Waiver, you must apply for the K-ETA.
– You must apply for the K-ETA and receive approval 72 hours prior to departure. You are strongly advised to apply for the K-ETA at least one week before your intended departure (K-ETA fee: KRW 10,000) - Apply for Q-Code (Mandatory for all travelers)
– Apply for Q-Code 72 hours prior to departure.

– The QR code must be saved in your mobile phone, upon completion of the form, to be shown to Korean Immigration Officials upon arrival.
How to get to Daegu?
Attendees can easily get to Daegu via three airports in South Korea: Daegu International Airport, Gimhae International Airport, and Incheon International Airport.
Most international flights will land at Incheon International Airport, Seoul, and there are multiple routes to get to SIGGRAPH Asia 2022 in EXCO, Daegu
